Fendi, a partire dal 1 maggio, ha fatto partire una specie di asta on line per raccogliere fondi a favore dell’oraganizzazione KIDS COMPANY che si occupa di bambini traumatizzati che hanno subito abusi in Gran Bretagna.
Per realizzare questo progetto ha chiesto a donne famose ed esperte in design o moda di personalizzare una it-bag: la Peekaboo.
Le 10 prescelte, che hanno lavorato gomito a gomito con Silvia Venurini Fendi, sono state: Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jerry Hall, Zaha Adid, Adele, Naomie Harris,Kate Adie,Tanya Ling, Tracey Emin.
L’inizio di questa asta coincide inoltre con l’apertura a Londra del flagship store della griffe.
Questa può essere considerata la dimostrazione che ” se una partnership va oltre l’obiettivo di generare denaro e si trasforma in una dichiarazione d’intenti rivolta alla società, diventa speciale” proprio come ha spiegato Camila Batmanghelidjh, founder di Kids Company, attraverso queste sue parole.
